This exhibition aims to unravel the background and process of Takenobu Igarashi’s works and projects by using artworks and materials in the archive’s collection as clues. The works featured in this exhibition are “Symbol mark of Tama Art University” (1995) and “Shibuya PARCO PART 3” (1981-1982), both of which Igarashi worked on. Through the exhibition of primary documents such as photographs, drawings, memos, and sketches, which are only available in the archive, we will explore the secrets of Igarashi’s creativity.
We hope that this exhibition will provide an opportunity for visitors to relive the surprises and impressions that arise daily in the field of archival research.

In the permanent exhibition introducing Igarashi’s creative activities, representative works from his days as a designer and after his transition to a sculptor are presented along with Igarashi’s words.
